Our client, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women in recovery through meaningful employment, seeks an Executive Director. Founded by a woman in recovery, the organization provides paid, skill-building jobs in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Operations
- Partner with the board on strategic planning and execution.
- Oversee daily operations, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Implement performance tracking and report results to the board.
Leadership & Team Management
- Build a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Support and grow a strong management team.
- Plan for succession and scale the team to meet growth needs.
Fundraising & Finance
- Lead fundraising strategies, including grants, donors, and revenue generation.
- Ensure financial health through budgeting and cash flow oversight.
Community Engagement & Advocacy
- Represent the organization publicly and build strategic partnerships.
- Maintain strong relationships with staff, alumni, funders, and the board.
- Keep the board informed and aligned on organizational matters.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of leadership, preferably in nonprofits or startups.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Passion for empowering women in recovery through employment.
- Proven success in scaling organizations and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong financial and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication, marketing, and community engagement abilities.
- Integrity and attention to detail in reporting and operations.
