About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Business Administration and Strategic Initiatives. This leadership role is pivotal in supporting the execution of business operations across a wide range of strategic and administrative functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and facilitating key deliverables, establishing business administration priorities, and ensuring the alignment of various departments with the academic and clinical missions. As a strategic advisor, the Executive Director will collaborate with partners across the institution to plan and manage the administration and operations, and will also be a key partner in continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves representing the Deputy Dean at critical forums and guiding a team of senior directors and directors to optimize performance and advance the institution's missions. Candidates for this role at the company should have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' of experience, with at least 5 years' in a leadership position within a large, complex academic health system environment. Preferred qualifications include an MBA, a master's degree in healthcare administration, or an advanced degree, as well as experience in a large academic medical center or academic medical group practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent financial and analytical skills, be adept at preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, and have a comprehensive knowledge of professional accounting principles and practices.
