An AM & Vault ranked law firm are looking to immediately onboard an Associate into their Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group. The role will join their established Chicago office.
The Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation team are established with over 20 professionals across the nation. The team partners with companies at every stage and size to navigate the legal, tax, securities, financial, and practical considerations involved in designing and implementing executive compensation programs.
Role requirements:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a relevant law firm setting.
- Broad experience in employee benefits and executive compensation, including executive compensation and benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions, taxation issues related to executive compensation arrangements.
- Design and negotiation of employment and other executive compensation arrangements.
- Understanding of compensation-related disclosure and corporate governance matters.
- Experience in ERISA fiduciary and pension investment issues (including VCOC/REOC structuring).
- High level of academic achievement, strong problem solving, writing and communication skillset.
