Job Description:

Our Executive Chef must be detail oriented and committed to excellence. The Executive Chef must have great communication skills. As our Executive Chef, you'll be accountable for all culinary aspects of the business, as well as oversee all Food & Beverage areas of our beautiful resort. Our resort includes banquet facilities, so the Executive Chef will also have to oversee all catering and events. Selecting, coaching, and developing an outstanding culinary team will be among the responsibilities of the Executive Chef. The Executive Chef will work with the executive team to continually create, develop, and enhance the F&B department. This will be done not only with innovative recipes, but also with standards of guest service and high levels of operations. The Chef at this location will be required to embrace technology and become innovative with menu items, as well as creative with food preparation. As our Executive Chef, developing the team to exceed expectations and abide by all safety and health standards is crucial.

Qualifications:

• The Executive Chef should have a high school diploma or GED with a Culinary degree or a minimum of five years of industry experience

• The Executive Chef must have excellent communication skills and have an ownership mentality of their kitchen

• The Executive Chef must have proven success in controlling costs associated with running a profitable business, such as food, labor, and beverage

• Our Executive Chef must be a self-starter that can take charge of our F&B department

• The Executive Chef must actively participate in all menu creation and have knowledge of current food and beverage trends
