Role Purpose Statement

As Executive Chef, you will lead the culinary operations of our Customer Service Center (CSC), ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and innovation. You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of food production in alignment with company standards, menu specifications, and customer expectations. Main Accountabilities

Food Production & Innovation

  • Oversee all food production activities, ensuring adherence to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Plan and adjust production schedules; accurately forecast food and equipment needs.
  • Ensure recipe compliance and perform regular taste and quality checks.
  • Collaborate on new menu development and culinary innovations.
  • Maintain and update catering manuals;
  • Lead cost control initiatives,
  • Present menus and new culinary concepts
  • Respond to customer feedback and coordinate corrective actions
  • Conduct service schedule assessments and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff.
  • Represent the kitchen team in client meetings and external presentations.

Quality & Compliance

  • Oversee quality control for all incoming food goods and supplies.
  • Ensure proper food storage, applying FIFO principles and maintaining organization.
  • Enforce strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing culinary team; ensure proper staffing and structure.
  • Motivate, mentor, and develop kitchen staff in line with HR policies and company culture.
  • Champion the company's values and leadership principles.
  • Manage department budgets; initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Support and drive corporate initiatives
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Experience: 5-7 years of commercial culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Education: Culinary school certification or apprenticeship preferred.

  • Additional Qualifications: Specialized certifications (e.g., diet chef, industrial chef) a plus.

  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations; financial acumen for cost control.

  • Skills: Leadership, innovation, team development, and operational excellence.
