Now Hiring: Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO)

- In this key position, you'll work directly with our COO to manage day-to-day operations, support project delivery, and contribute to the overall growth of the company. This is an ideal role for someone looking to build a long-term career in renewable energy while learning the inner workings of a successful solar construction firm.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the right hand to the COO, supporting administrative, operational, and project tasks
- Coordinate schedules for projects, crews, and internal teams
- Process and track vendor invoices and customer payments
- Support weekly payroll processing and assist with accounting tasks
- Maintain project agendas and meeting documentation
- Assist with subcontractor management, contract reviews, and compliance tracking
- Conduct research to support project teams and company strategy
- Provide professional customer service to clients and partners
- Maintain organized digital records and filing systems
- Support licensing, training, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Workers Comp audits)
- Help transition projects from sales to operations, ensuring smooth handoffs
- Perform other essential duties as assigned to help the company succeed
What You Bring to the Team
- Required:
- Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience
- Strong administrative and operational support skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially SharePoint, Word, and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred:
- 3+ years of administrative support experience in construction, engineering, or related industries
- Familiarity with accounting best practices and payroll processes
