Job Description

The Executive Assistant - Far East provides administrative support to the Vice President of International Marketing Administration, the Far East Marketing Host Team, Branch Offices, and Independent Agents as necessary for the successful operation of their respective teams and functions as a liaison for the department(s) with overall general administrative needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative support to assist the Far East Marketing Department with complex details and administrative duties while coordinating and maintaining effective office procedures for efficient workflow.
  • Maintains a close and responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the department(s).
  • Interfaces with staff with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Exercises discretion with integrity in the handling of confidential material.
  • Prepares various spreadsheets, presentations, and general correspondence.
  • Compiles and tracks reports on information relevant to special project assignments from multiple sources.
  • Answers, screens, and routes executive phone calls in a highly professional and timely manner.
  • Receives and handles guest complaints with a high level of customer service etiquette and a sense of urgency ensuring the proper personnel are given detailed and accurate reports of guest incidents.
  • Coordinates and confirms meeting arrangements.
  • Completes and processes reports and all reservations, data entry, and guest requests in the appropriate company computer systems.
  • Maintains office supply inventory and places orders on demand.
  • Keeps informed of all new company-wide initiatives and administrative developments by attending continuing education and training.
  • Manages multiple priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.
  • Support of Branch Office and Independent Agent programs as needed.
  • Support of International Marketing Administration as needed.
  • Management of scheduling for Casino Host and Casino Marketing Specialists teams.
  • Systems, policy training, and full on-boarding of new Casino Marketing Team Members.
  • Maintenance of departmental training materials.
  • Supports team member engagement activities and requests.
Performs various projects, ensures timely follow-up, anticipates administrative needs, and handles other duties assigned by department leaders.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, specifically Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must always present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
Supervisory Responsibility
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
  • This job operates in a fast-paced office and casino environment.
Position Type/Expected Work Hours
  • This is a full-time position. Must be flexible regarding schedule with the ability to work varied days and times, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • Additional education or related sales and marketing training are preferred.
  • Three (3) years of previous experience in administrative work casino, hospitality, telemarketing or other customer service environment.
Language Skills
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese is preferred) and English required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, instructions, emails and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
Age, Certifications and Work Cards
  • 21 years of age or above.
  • A valid Nevada Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness Card are required and must be obtained before entering this position.
