Monarch Research is actively hiring a dynamic and versatile Communications & Executive Administrator to join its team in Marion, IA.

The Communications & Executive Administrator will play a key role in amplifying the mission, engaging the diverse audience, and driving program success. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator, and a proactive leader.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Communication & Content Creation: Develop and execute communication strategies; write and edit content for web, social media, email campaigns, and program materials

Digital Marketing & Analytics: Manage website and social media channels; use tools like Google Analytics and Mailchimp to optimize engagement and track performance

Community Outreach & Media Relations: Build relationships with key stakeholders; coordinate media outreach, press releases, and paid advertising efforts

Team & Program Leadership: Lead marketing efforts, manage team meetings, and support event logistics and program education

Fundraising & Grant Writing: Research, write, and submit grant proposals to secure funding for ongoing initiatives

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in communications, marketing, or related field, within the nonprofit sector

• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including website content management systems, social media platforms, email marketing software (Mailchimp), and Google Analytics

• Previous experience with grant writing is highly desirable
