MUST live in Merritt Island (CEO will help relo perfect candidate so they are there)

Have to be comfortable working evenings or weekends when the CEO is traveling to make changes or arrangements

Have to be comfortable with personal assistant things like helping his wife with managing the kids and things that come up that she needs help with while he is gone.

They will test on MS office - a number of candidates have failed word and excel testing they have given them

They do criminal and drug testing


Normal work hours are 8-5 or 6 Monday to Friday

There is no office in Merritt Island so this person has to be comfortable working remotely from home


Position Summary

The Personal Assistant will support the President/CEO/Principal Engineer/Founder with day-to-day business operations alongside personal responsibilities. The Personal Assistant will play an integral role in the quality and vision of our company standards and must be efficient, have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to work well both independently and as a team player. Responsibilities


• Pleasant and friendly disposition.


• Multi-task and prioritize delegated projects.


• Manage and organize the President/CEO/Principal Engineer/Founder's (PCPEF) calendar and appointments; track all deadlines/objectives are being met.


• Support the PCPEF with all confidential, sensitive and high-priority tasks.


• Assist with coordination of family matters for the PCPEF.


• Provide and maintain an itinerary; assist with the coordination of travel for the PCPEF, and his family as needed, i.e. travel details, flights, accommodations, ground transportation, etc.


• Screen and prioritize incoming communications and correspondence, i.e. calls, email and messages.


• Coordinate meetings, presentations and events for the PCPEF and prepare briefings for each.


• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of meeting discussions, key points and action items.


• Assist with creating, editing, and completing reports, proposals and other correspondence.


• Assist with maintaining budget expense and reporting as requested.


• Maintain confidential files and documents in an organized manner.


• Perform various tasks and errands as required to support the PCPEF and his family.


• Maintain social media accounts requested by the PCPEF. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


• Must display high levels of confidentiality, integrity, and dependability.


• Excellent knowledge of computers, Microsoft Suite, i.e., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and other relevant software.


• Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with staff and management.


• Excellent organizational skills, knowledge/process retention, and attention to detail.


• Strong work ethic, ability to work independently/self-motivated, as well as in a collaborative team setting, highly organized, and detailed-oriented.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.

Education and Experience


• Bachelor's degree, highly preferred


• Minimum of 4 years' experience or related experience supporting a CEO
