Our client, a top private equity firm based in Midtown, is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant for their Merchant Banking Team. The ideal candidate is a driven, ambitious self-starter with a strong work ethic and a high level of energy. Experience in fast-paced financial services environments is preferred.

Position: Executive Administrative Assistant to Merchant Banking Team

Location: New York, NY (Midtown)

Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm with some flexibility as needed

Compensation: $90 - 125K range DOE + Bonus + Benefits

Bachelor's Degree: Preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to a Managing Director and a team of 5-6 merchant banking professionals.
  • Manage and coordinate complex calendars, including scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Prepare, submit, and reconcile expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel accommodations, including flights and hotel bookings for team.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, filing, printing, and binding documents.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 3 to 7 years of administrative experience in professional services industries (e.g., finance, legal, consulting).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
