Exadata Administrator

Indotronix is seeking an Exadata Administrator in Birmingham(AL) and multiple client tech hub locations

Position : Exadata Administrator

Location : Hybrid in Order of: Birmingham(AL) , Phoenix(AZ), Pittsburgh(PA) ,Cleveland(OH), and Dallas(TX)

Duration: 12 Months

1st Shift M-F, 8-5 Hours, will stick to 40 hours and must be available to work nights and weekends.

Schedule:

Days: Mon-Fri

Hours per week: 8-5

OT: None, nights and weekends would be flexed throughout the week. Must Be Available Nights and Weekends

Must be able to attend occasional All Hands Meetings

Required Skills:

• Exadata Administrator Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of full stack Exadata support

• Full stack patching of the Exadata appliance

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Extensive experience troubleshooting performance issues

• Understanding of the process for replacing failed components of the appliance

• At least 5 years of Oracle DBA experience

• Experience supporting Oracle Recovery Appliances

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Golden Gate

• Knowledge of ServiceNow

• Previous financial institution experience is a plus

Degrees/Certifications/Years of Overall Experience Required:

• HS Diploma w/Oracle cert is ok

• Bachelor's preferred (software engineering, computer science, and/or related field)

• 5+ years of related work experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Address Exadata hardware failures

• Apply Exadata patches

• Participate in rotating on-call off hours coverage

• Field customer requests

• Investigate performance issues

Interview Process:

The manager will do at least 1 interview via video/in person.

2 rounds of interviews (3rd round if needed)
