Disposes of waste, accurate mixing of chemicals, and follows proper instructions in sanitation of all equipment according to department policy and procedure meeting department standards as evidenced by regulatory agencies reports. Maintains a clean, clutter-free and safe work environment. Cares for, maintains, and protects property and equipment. Obtains cleaning supplies from appropriate sources and uses supplies in a conservative manner. Responsible for keeping doors locked and alarm offices/clinic as directed to ensure patient safety and confidentiality. Promptly and accurately reports potential safety hazards and violations of policy or code of conduct. Stays up to date on all infection prevention guidelines as listed in department and hospital policies. Continuously does patient assessment and performs those tasks necessary for continued patient care during the transport process. Responds to tasks for dispatching system in a timely manner. Properly utilizes HRC / Team Throughput software. Interacts with Team Transport TM dispatch system. Proper use of the bed control system when discharging a patient. Demonstrates knowledge of the hospital structure and location of the various department and nursing divisions. Properly manage oxygen administration per CoxHealth and department policy
