Searcys is seeking an Events Supervisor to join our team at 116 Pall Mall.

As an Events Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and profitability of events, supporting managers, and coordinating the team during events.

116 Pall Mall is a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in the heart of London, originally designed by John Nash. The venue features traditional meeting rooms and glamorous chandelier-filled ballrooms.

The role involves working with an exciting events team to deliver food, beverage, and event operations across various spaces, and assisting front of house operations by briefing team members involved in event delivery.

Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure events are set up as per event sheets.
  • Deliver events on time according to event sheets.
  • Liaise with kitchen and events team to ensure successful delivery.
  • Plan and manage events both short- and long-term.
  • Maintain or exceed budgeted sales and profits.
  • Lead the event team to build long-term customer relationships and achieve sales targets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in event management.
  • Understanding of the event and meeting management process from conception to completion.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills.
  • Positive, creative, self-directed, and composed under pressure.
