THE CLUB AT KUKUI ULA Our name "Kukui ula" is the place name of our location on Kauai's southern shore, near world-famous Poipu Beach. Kukui ula comes from two Hawaiian words: kukui, or candlenut - a traditional Hawaiian source for lighting oil - and 'ula, which means "red". In ancient Kauai, Kukui ula served as a place to burn the kukui nut oil at night, its red glow guiding seafarers safely back to shore.

Role Overview The Club at Kukui'ula is seeking an Events Server to join our team. This role involves delivering exceptional service to our members and guests for all special events/functions here at The Club which involve full setup and break down of functions and other related tasks as assigned by the Director of Events. This position provides service of all food and beverage items to our members and guests during private events in a timely, friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner. This individual will constantly monitor guests' needs, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled and ensures the station and table set ups are complete and meet departmental standards prior to service. At the end of functions you will clear tables and transport all equipment in the proper manner. The ideal candidate must enjoy interacting and conversing with guests as well as working closely within a team and be able to carry trays weighing up to 15 lbs.
Qualifications - Experience in a similar role, preferably within a hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
- Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 15 lbs.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact and converse with guests.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely within a team.
Requirements - Provide timely, friendly, enthusiastic, and professional service to all members and guests.
- Monitor guests' needs on a continual basis, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled.
- Carry trays weighing up to 15 lbs.
- Possess sequence of service knowledge.
- Be comfortable interacting and conversing with guests.
- Work closely within a team.
Salary Range $26.35 to $31.00 per hour.
