Events Manager Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Hybrid - Kohler, WI
Opportunity The Events Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, social events, and more. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Events Manager will work closely with the sales team, internal teams and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of events that deliver a five-diamond experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities Event Planning and Coordination
- Create detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
- Coordinate with vendors and venues to secure necessary services and materials.
- Manage event registration processes and attendee communications.
Budget Management
- Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor expenses and ensure events stay within budget.
On-Site Event Management
- Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown.
- Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations.
- Address any issues or emergencies that arise during events.
Internal Teams and Stakeholder Relations
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Post-Event Evaluation
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes and feedback.
- Implement changes based on evaluation findings to improve future events.
Skills/Requirements Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning and management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events.
Skills and Competencies - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Working Conditions - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Travel may be necessary for event site visits and on-site management.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range for this position is $62,350 - $77,950. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
