External: NNCCF Donors, Community Partners, NNCCF Families
Job Summary
This full-time position is an integral position with NNCCF that relates directly to NNCCF's core mission, in that in this position, the incumbent holds primary responsibility for assisting with fundraising events and working with the Development Team to assist and coordinate events. While this position will work closely with the Development team to promote cohesiveness, the incumbent in this position is expected to exercise significant and considerable independent judgment and discretion in fulfilling his or her job duties, which, as discussed above, are an integral part of ensuring that NNCCF can fulfill its overall mission.
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables
Team Coordination
Maintain clear and consistent communication with all team members.
Attend weekly Development Team Meetings
Access and identify gaps and needs within the Development Team.
Report to the Director of Development on needs, growth opportunities, and development.
Community Partner Event Management
Assist with managing inquiries, planning, and execution of community partner events with the help of the Community Relations Manager.
Represent NNCCF at community partner events.
Help in diversifying the donor base.
Assist with donor retention.
Event Coordination
Assist in signature events, including in-kind letters, CRM (Bloomerang), and thank you cards.
Participate and support all Foundation Signature Events and some Community Partner Events.
Coordinate volunteers at events.
Coordinate all event supplies.
Other general duties as needed.
Donors and Community
Assist with quarterly newsletters.
Assist with e-blasts to communicate with donors and the community.
Represent NNCCF at community events.
Programs and Services
Represent and assist with NNCCF Family Events.

Required Skills
Spanish speaking is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with donor and event management platforms
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms; efficiently respond to questions from donors, vendors, staff, and members of the community. Ability to network effectively and communicate in an upbeat and professional manner.
Ability to manage the delivery of a variety of events with excellent organizational and office management skills; ability to collaborate with vendors, donors, and staff as necessary. Ability to pivot quickly in response to the organization and community needs.
Ability to work with sensitive material and subject matter.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced, and at times, stressful environment.
Willingness to work traditional business hours and, at times, extended hours during events.
Education and Experience
Associate degree preferred. A high school degree or equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Ability to set up and participate in activities, including squatting, bending, and lifting.
