Summary: Events Coordinator needed for a large not-for-profit organization located in Nelsonville, Ohio. This position is responsible for:
- Day-of and on-site activities related to events and rentals.
- Act as liaison for renters and clients using spaces.
- Work with the Operations Director to schedule all appropriate staff for events.
- Supervising all assigned event/project activities.
- Assisting in project programs.
- Overseeing the opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain the office calendar, adding any events discussed in the office.
- Attend all production meetings.
- Respond to all inquiries in a timely manner, review guests, and follow up on any needs and questions.
- Communicate stays to the cleaning staff for proper turnaround of AirBnB.
- Other duties as assigned.
This is a direct-hire, part-time position, hiring immediately. The schedule is flexible and will vary based on events and projects but approximately 20 to 30 hours per week. Pay is $20/hour.
Qualifications: - Must have patience and professionalism with a wide range of clients, renters, community members, and artists.
- Able to lift up to 30lbs, set tables and chairs, and be on your feet for long hours.
- AV equipment usage is a plus, but can be trained.
- Bartending/food service experience is a plus.
