Event Engagement Specialist
Industry: Fortune 500 Telecom Company
Location: Philadelphia, PA (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Duration: Contract until the end of 2025
Pay rate: $25-$30/hr
The Event Engagement and Activation Specialist provides project management and an on-site event resource for the National Events Center of Excellence (NECoE) group. NECoE partners mainly with the regions and divisions to have elevated events in partnership awareness, network expansion and hypercompetitive markets to drive awareness, emotional brand connection and HSD/Mobile connects in these markets where are our competitors are doing the same.
Also, partnering with government affairs, multicultural, and other niche groups for specialty events to promote our company in the community for community impact/growth strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Identify areas of opportunity for company events
- Plan logistics, strategy and execution of events, working with HQ, Division and Regional partners
- Track sales and KPI's from Events in order to create ROI
- Provide monthly event read-out
- Document events with pictures, videos and verbatims from workers and attendees
- Partner with key business units (Marketing, Sales Enablement, etc.) to deliver their current content to Event teams and management
- Partner with Retail sales to support new activations such as tool adoption and developing sales enablement strategy
- Identify where new tools are receiving resistance and develop plan to help increase usage and adoption
- Leverage current trainings to further develop sales enablement
- Develop relationships with Division and Regional partners to understand their specific event and activation needs and develop and build deployment activations in order to support those event/needs
- Identify areas of partnership with HQ teams (IE, Multicultural) to support National, Division and Regional events
- Maintain and evolve event Playbook that provides guidance and support for all events
- Up to 25% - 50% travel as required
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of event management experience
