Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Event Specialist to plan and execute engaging and impactful events. This role requires a blend of creativity, logistical expertise, and ideally a strong understanding of the dental market.


The Event Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, from concept development and vendor coordination to on-site execution and post-event analysis. To be successful, you will closely collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, Clinical Education, and Training teams, to understand and include their needs, as well as ensuring that they deliver on their tasks according to plan. With support from your manager, you will own the planning and execution of your activities, including driving external agencies (briefing, feedback rounds ) and internal reviews/validation.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Define and own the event plan (from large congresses to small sales events), working closely with Marketing, Clinical Education, and Sales leaders
  • Plan and execute a variety of events, including conferences, trade shows, workshops, and product launches.
  • Develop event concepts and themes that align with company objectives and resonate with target audiences (dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, etc.).
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics, ensuring events are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with vendors, including venues, caterers, audiovisual providers, and promotional material suppliers.
  • Handle registration, attendee communication, and on-site event management.
  • Support the implementation of marketing and promotional strategies to drive event attendance.
  • Evaluate event success through post-event analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current trends and developments in the dental industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry associations, speakers, and sponsors.
  • Coordinate production and shipment of all NAM-related marketing materials for dental clinics and distributors. Align with Sales on guidelines (volumes/office), ensure cost control and tracking. Seek for SC /COO Office support for the identification of the appropriate suppliers.
  • Support the execution of projects beyond the above scope as needed by the organisation

Education and Experience

  • Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably within the dental or healthcare industry.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the dental industry and its key players is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5years+ experience in similar roles, ideally in dental
  • Ability to travel as required.
