This is a fast-paced and fun job in a growing company where each day will never be like the last. We participate in a wide variety of local activities, such as school events, sports, games, tournaments, festivals, concerts, corporate events, neighborhood get-togethers, weddings, birthdays, and other unique events.
Event Specialist must be at least 16 years or older and needs to have flexible schedules with a focused priority on meeting the needs of our customers. Duties include taking customer orders, operating equipment to prepare shaved ice and coffee drinks, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.

Kona Ice & Travelin' Tom's Event Specialist Responsibilities: - Represent the Kona Ice brand by delivering a memorable experience and outstanding customer service
- Provide superior service to clients and customers with speed and accuracy
- Assists Event Specialist/Driver in completing event procedures, warehouse expectations and needed areas to run a successful event
- Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment, work well with other team members, and provide ongoing feedback to improve the work environment
- Comply with the hygiene, health, and sanitation guidelines
- Responsible for operating, maintaining and keeping clean all equipment on the trucks; maintain warehouse expectations and cleanliness of work environment, including basic cleaning of trucks/warehouse
- Complete beginning- and end-of-shift prepping and stocking, cash counts, event closing procedures
- Must be able to read, count money, and accurately complete documentation
- Communicate maintenance and inventory needs to appropriate staff
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements - At least 16 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be available most Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays during our busy season (April-November)
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to pass background check
- Basic math skills are a must
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
