Essential Job Functions - Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to deliver the highest quality service.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their contracted conference and event needs and objectives, providing tailored solutions.
- Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of conferences and events, including menu selection, setups, catering details, program and event timelines, group rooming lists.
- Create and manage detailed budgets for conferences, ensuring alignment with financial goals and maintaining accurate records of group performance in accommodations and food and beverage.
- Oversee the on-site execution of conferences and events, offering support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Create unique guest experiences and play a key role in enhancing the hotel's offerings.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience in hotels and hospitality preferred.
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and clients' needs.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure quality service.
- Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service, particularly in a hospitality setting.
- Experience in collaborating with clients to customize solutions for their conference needs.
- Strong organizational skills in planning and coordinating logistical aspects of events.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, hotel staff, and guests.
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn and/or software savvy with event management software, property management systems (PMS), and other relevant tools (like Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Proficient in budget management and maintaining detailed performance records.
- Ability to oversee on-site event execution and provide effective support.
- A commitment to evaluating and improving conference services for enhanced guest satisfaction.
- Creativity in developing unique experiences that elevate our hotel offerings.
