The Role
As a member of our Sales Team, you will be responsible for qualifying and selling to interested inbound prospects by phone and email using our best-in-class sales systems,. Using our scalable qualifying process, you will identify leads looking to explore our experience packages in more detail who are ready to take the next steps of the buying process. You will work towards building a book of business of your own guests for many events held in the Americas, and coordinate with our Event Specialist Specialists team to set and schedule initial meetings for International Events. This role reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform sales development activities such as calls (inbound+outbound), emails, SMS texting, and chat to schedule quality meetings, support the sales team in generating pipeline, and increase revenue using Outreach, Salesforce, and Quints' internal sales methodologies.
- Learn, master and utilize customer-focused selling techniques, including thorough preparation for Opening, Investigating, Presenting, Confirming and Positioning.
- Maintain, manage, and report on a healthy pipeline for consistent performance and visibility. This includes clear communication with sales management.
- Respect and treat ethically all members of the internal team, partners, customers, and all other persons while representing Quint.
- No travel is standard nor required, but all employees have the opportunity to attend events on-site as an Operations Volunteer.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales or business experience.
- No professional experience required, many Event Sales Associates have joined us right out of college.
- Sporting, entertainment, hospitality, or travel industry experience, particularly into an existing partnership, is a plus.
- Experience in a non-retail sales role as an SDR/BDR, or appointment-setter is a plus.
Skills/Abilities
- Strong computer skills are a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, and/or Outreach is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively and comfortably interact with professionals of all titles, including executive leadership, both internally and externally.
- Flexibility to manage competing priorities, shift focus as determined by the changing needs of the business and adapt in a rapidly growing sales organization.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Eagerness to take ownership over tasks, assignments, and projects.
- Strong qualifying and selling skills and the ability to influence prospects, customers, referral sources and partners.
