We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Event Promotions Assistant, responsible for driving awareness and supporting nonprofit initiatives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating a positive impact in the community through engaging with the public at local events, festivals, and various outreach activities.

Role Overview: As an Event Promotions Assistant, your main responsibility will be to attend events and work with community partners to educate the public about how their contributions support meaningful charitable causes. You'll gain hands-on experience in event marketing, customer interaction, and promotional strategies while playing a key role in growing the impact of our charitable partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with the public at community events, educating participants about how their donations make a difference to nonprofit organizations
  • Implement promotional strategies to raise awareness and drive engagement during events
  • Process donations and provide excellent customer service to ensure smooth transactions and positive interactions
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance event execution and maximize impact
  • Build and maintain relationships with community members to foster trust and long-term support for our charitable partners
  • Adapt quickly to changing environments, ensuring the smooth flow of events and effective communication
Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of experience in event staffing, sales, or customer service
  • Eager to learn new skills in marketing and community outreach
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people and represent nonprofit causes
  • Motivated to make a difference in the community and grow within a leadership-focused organization
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks
Education:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory
