Title: Event Marketing Specialist

Location:Framingham, MA 01701 Pay Rate: $30/hr.
Job Summary: The Events & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing tradeshows, conferences, and internal/external events across the USA, Canada, and Latin America, while also supporting regional marketing initiatives. This role will be approximately 70% focused on event execution and 30% on marketing project coordination. The position reports to the Sr. Manager of Marketing Strategy and Content - Americas and is based in Marlborough, MA.
Qualifications & Skills: - Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
- Licensure & Certifications:
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Required Skills & Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in event planning, tradeshows, or marketing coordination
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Project management experience with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift or carry up to 40 lbs
- Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with content management systems and email marketing tools
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities:Event Support (70%) - Plan and execute tradeshow participation across various markets (Biopharma, Pharma, Life Sciences, Clinical/Forensic, Food/Environment)
- Travel to and support onsite events (based on contract allowance)
- Manage booth asset inventory and coordinate logistics with exhibit house and vendors
- Coordinate event logistics: show services, applications, food/beverage, AV, and venue communications
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless event execution
Marketing Support (30%) - Assist in implementing marketing communication campaigns
- Maintain tradeshow planning documents and timelines
- Use analytics tools to monitor and report on campaign performance
