Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Compensation: $60,000 annual base + monthly bonus

Perks: Bi-weekly pay, mileage reimbursement

About the Role

We are seeking a self-starting Event Marketing Manager to lead and grow our event marketing efforts in the Indianapolis area. In this hands-on role, you'll manage a team of Brand Representatives, oversee weekly events, and develop new outreach opportunities to generate high-quality sales leads. This position combines team leadership, event operations, and strategic planning to deliver measurable marketing impact.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of management experience and a strong background in team leadership, event coordination, or face-to-face marketing.

What You'll Do

Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a team of Brand Representatives
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve LPH (Leads per Hour) and quality goals
  • Address performance issues as needed, including employment decisions
Event Planning & Execution
  • Identify, schedule, and manage participation in events (home shows, fairs, festivals, etc.)
  • Oversee the entire process for booking events (contracts, W-9s, COIs, confirmations)
  • Personally attend and work high-value weekly events
  • Manage all event logistics including booth setup/tear-down, materials, and inventory
Partnership & Territory Development
  • Build retail partnerships to secure staffed in-store displays for lead generation
  • Explore and implement local sponsorship and outreach opportunities
  • Work closely with the Regional Event Marketing Manager to develop the territory
Office & Administrative Duties
  • Spend several days each week in the office to:
  • Build team schedules
  • Source and secure upcoming events
  • Submit payroll and lead reporting on time
  • Ensure accuracy and professionalism in lead submission and data management
What You Bring
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing teams
  • Event marketing or customer-facing experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday required)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Professional presence and self-motivated mindset
Performance Expectations
  • Productivity: 0.30+ Leads per Hour (LPH)
  • Lead Quality: 50%+ conversion rate, accurate data entry
  • Cost Efficiency: $400 CPL and marketing costs 20% of revenue
  • Timely submission of all required paperwork and reporting
