As the Catering & Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and growing CRG Premiere Catering & Events. You will manage and execute events across CRG's first-party venues (CRG Event Center and 600 East) as well as third-party and off-site locations. This is a client-facing, detail-oriented leadership role focused on delivering exceptional events through personalized planning, hospitality, and seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities

Client Coordination

• Secure new business through inbound inquiries and outbound relationship-building

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from first inquiry through post-event follow-up

• Provide expert guidance during the planning process to ensure a smooth and successful experience

• Build strong relationships with clients to ensure loyalty and recurring business

Venue & Vendor Relations

• Cultivate new venue partnerships and maintain relationships with existing third-party sites

• Collaborate with vendors to ensure cohesive event execution and elevated guest experiences

Menu Planning

• Partner with the Executive Culinary Team to create customized menus based on client needs, dietary restrictions, and event themes

Event Execution

• Lead all logistical planning and event coordination

• Manage on-site operations including event setup, vendor coordination, staff supervision, and breakdown

• Ensure excellence in service delivery, timing, and presentation

Administrative & Team Collaboration

• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, clients, and external partners

• Produce accurate proposals, contracts, BEOs, and schedules

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in catering, events, or hospitality management

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to problem-solve and make timely decisions

• High attention to detail and a proactive mindset

• Familiarity with event management or catering software (preferred)

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Work Style & Schedule

• Mix of office-based planning and on-site event execution

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays, approximately 50-55 hours per week on average

• Travel required among CRG venues and off-site event locations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and transport event materials and equipment

• Must be able to stand and move for extended periods during events

• Reliable transportation required
