Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a diverse array of dishes according to established production guidelines and recipes.
  • Set up your workstation with all necessary ingredients and tools.
  • Measure, mix, chop, and prepare ingredients for cooking.
  • Utilize various utensils and cooking equipment safely and effectively.
  • Employ a range of cooking techniques such as baking, roasting, and steaming.
  • Present, garnish, and portion dishes according to our standards.
  • Practice safe food storage and adhere to food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
  • Follow Aramark's safety and sanitation policies to ensure a secure working environment.
The role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role is essential.
  • Knowledge of fundamental food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety practices is required.
  • Ability to obtain food safety certification.
  • Basic math and counting skills are necessary.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
