We are recruiting a full-time Sales Executive to join the team on one of our most successful show portfolios. Consisting of two live exhibitions in London and Manchester plus an online content hub showcasing the latest tech and innovations within their space; this internationally recognized brand attracts a combined audience of over 23,000 each year. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious salesperson looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking events company. You must be confident at selling on the phone and face to face with a consultative approach; communication and organisation skills are a must. About Diversified: Diversified UK & Europe is part of a rapidly growing, highly successful trade exhibition and media group. Our head office is in Portland, Maine, USA. In the UK we organise 17 highly successful trade shows, all of them leaders in their sector, and publish several market leading trade magazines. THE ROLE: Account management to develop and maintain strong client relationships with key clients Cultivating new business leads Attending relevant industry trade shows both in the UK Hitting individual and team sales targets Proactively pitching sponsorship opportunities Collaboration with other departments such as operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure delivery of client requirements Contributing to content ideas for sales emails Developing knowledge of the competitive landscape Social media support and posts across Facebook and LinkedIn Working with Salesforce to maintain the sales pipeline Admin and organisation skills essential Working closely with the Event Manager and Portfolio Director to build a successful event YOUR PROFILE 1-2 years of dedicated sales experience Experience within the events and exhibition industry, but not essential Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent attention to detail Hands-on, positive attitude as well as being a good team player ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Competitive salary negotiable depending on experience 25 days holiday entitlement per annum plus Bank Holidays Excellent company benefits including healthcare cover, life insurance and critical illness cover as well as gym membership & classes contribution and cycle to work scheme Flexible working hours available A great working environment with lots of social activities Interviews will take place May/June 2025 Diversified Communications is committed to equal opportunities to all staff and those who work with us, irrespective of age, religion, or sexual orientation, ethical or national origin, gender, race, physical or mental disability and in line with the 2010 Equalities Act.
