Exciting Opportunity: Evening and Overnight Team Leader The Team Leader is charged with overseeing store operations during evening and overnight shifts when higher-level management is unavailable. This role ensures efficient productivity and quality service while providing support and recommendations to the management team regarding store operations.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver exceptional customer service and efficiently handle customer inquiries and feedback.
- Ensure seamless operations between associates and customers, overseeing food service and beverage efficiency.
- Enforce safety, security, quality, and operational standards, including adherence to Wawa's Crisis Management procedures.
- Inspire and coach associates to perform their best during shifts.
- Manage stock levels for food service items aligned with the day part.
- Communicate potential growth opportunities within the food and beverage sector.
- Recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of team members.
- Implement cash handling and accountability processes while managing registers.
- Oversee the check-in process for internal and external vendors following corporate guidelines.
- Ensure all equipment operates smoothly and maintain store conditions according to standards.

- Ability to commit to 35 - 40 hours of work per week.
- Flexible availability, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
- Prior experience in leadership, team development, and food service management is preferred.
- Demonstrated capability in implementing change and achieving results.
- Experience in a high-paced retail, food service, or fueling environment.
- Proven skills in customer service, relationship building, and effective communication.
