Responsibilities
Responsibilities: -
• Assist with IT helpdesk tasks, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Learn and support cloud-based platforms and systems (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace).
• Collaborate on cybersecurity initiatives, including monitoring and responding to threats.
• Participate in software development and testing projects, including scripting and basic programming tasks.
• Research and recommend IT solutions to improve business operations.
• Document technical processes, create user guides, and maintain IT documentation.
• Gain exposure to IT project management and Agile methodologies.
• Attend regular virtual team meetings to discuss progress and next steps.
Qualifications
Requirements: -
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in information technology and willingness to learn new tools and systems.
• Basic understanding of operating systems, networks, and cybersecurity principles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, Bash).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment. - 0 - 5 Years experience required
Desired:• Familiarity with virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox).
• Experience using remote collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Zoom.
• Exposure to IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.
