This position serves as the EUC South Manager for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), in providing leadership and management oversite for advanced level remote and deskside troubleshooting and support services on computer hardware, software, and peripherals. This position serves as a Project Coordinator with relation to the installation and support of end user PC computing devices, software, and peripherals. In addition, you will define and develop operational standards and guidelines and measures team performance utilizing reporting tools in key areas including productivity, problem resolution standards and quality. Manages and directs the installation, configuration, maintenance, and management of applications for PCs and updates imaging and operating systems. Serves as a working supervisor. Manages staff and multiple projects with relation to the installation of end user PC computing devices, software, and peripherals by directing and providing guidance to staff involved in various projects and coordinates required service requests and incidents. Keeps abreast of new developments in the Information Security field by continuing education through attending meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of four (4) years of college with coursework in management information systems, data processing, telecommunications, or a direct Information Technology related field. Requires prior experience equivalent to three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in management information systems, data processing, or telecommunications in a public or business organization. Specialized Skills Requires three (3) years of professional supervisory or lead worker experience managing in-person and remote customer support, including installation, configuration, support, and maintenance of personal computers, software, and peripherals in an enterprise environment. Requires three (3) years of professional experience utilizing both manual and automated computer imaging processes and software distribution solutions in an enterprise environment. Requires three (3) years of professional experience in IT troubleshooting, utilizing monitoring tools, remote technology solution, and managing Microsoft network environments to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Requires three (3) years of professional experience s erving as a project coordinator managing large-scale complex IT projects, including end user hardware, software, application deployments and installations across multiple agencies and locations. Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years of professional supervisory or lead worker experience managing in-person and remote customer support, including installation, configuration, support, and maintenance of personal computers, software, and peripherals in an enterprise environment. Three (3) years of professional experience utilizing both manual and automated computer imaging processes and software distribution solutions in an enterprise environment. Three (3) years of professional experience in IT troubleshooting, utilizing monitoring tools, remote technology solution, and managing Microsoft network environments to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Three (3) years of professional experience s erving as a project coordinator managing complex IT projects, including end user hardware, software, application deployments and installations across multiple agencies and locations. Three (3) years of professional experience managing and supporting anti-virus, endpoint protection, and encryption solutions to ensure enterprise security and data protection. Two (2) years of professional experience supervising professional IT staff, including assigning work, reviewing work, providing training and guidance, evaluating performance, and managing daily operational needs. Ability to analyze IT administrative problems IT administrative challenges, assess operational impacts, and implement effective solutions to enhance end-user computing services and team efficiency. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to present technical information to others with precision and clarity. Ability to coordinate the activities of work associates to achieve desired results. Ability to gain and maintain cooperative working relationships and coordinate the activities of multi-level teams to achieve desired results.
