TRC's client has a Direct hire opportunity for a ETL Architect to join the team. This position is located in Gainesville GA and they will assist with relocation.
This position is with a Healthcare industry leader growing rapidly and offering great culture and benefits. The ETL Architect is a key member of the Data and Analytics Team, responsible for designing dimensional models, end-to-end ETL architecture, and implementing data migration and warehousing solutions. This role involves requirements analysis, source data profiling, data quality improvement, metadata management, and developing audit and error-handling mechanisms. The ETL Architect collaborates with operational teams, leadership, and customers to translate business data needs into analytics solutions while mentoring team members and maintaining ETL environments. Responsibilities
• Design and implement ETL architecture using Microsoft SSIS.
• Establish and enforce best practices via a Data Warehouse/ETL Center of Excellence.
• Automate ETL jobs with proper error handling and audit controls.
• Manage reference data to minimize hardcoding in ETL processes.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and leadership to enhance data quality and governance.
• Maintain documentation, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Mentor BI teams and contribute to data and analytics strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
• Certification: Epic Revenue, Clinical Data Model, or Cogito Project Manager (required within 6 months).
• Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (or 11 years of relevant experience).
• Experience:
o 7+ years in BI and analytic reporting (EPIC, SQL, Crystal Reports preferred).
o Strong background in business intelligence (BI) and enterprise data warehouse (EDW) support.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in database development (indexes, stored procedures, permissions).
• Knowledge of data warehousing, enterprise data management, and modeling techniques.
Key Skills & Abilities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Expertise in data migration, warehousing, and ETL lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in SQL tuning, data profiling, and master/reference data management.
• Ability to mentor, lead teams, and work in a dynamic environment.
