supportive work environment.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ESTIMATOR / SALES REP As an Estimator / Sales Rep, you are responsible for the entire pipeline from identifying sales targets to closing deals. Your excellent communication skills are essential, as you spend a lot of time chatting with prospective clients on the phone and in their homes. As you listen to their needs, you effectively explain how our services can satisfy those needs and schedule to meet them. You skillfully overcome objections, create and present customer proposals, and close deals. Each day, you enjoy traveling and meeting new people as part of your job. You'll use software that helps facilitate the building of proposals.
You play an important part in our projects. Your role is to determine the overall cost of the jobs we undertake, and we rely on your keen insight. Each time a new project comes up, you are the first one we call. Acting as a piecework consultant, you visit the job site and examine it with an analytical eye, viewing the work that needs to be done from multiple angles to be as thorough and accurate in your estimate as possible. You then draw up a proposal that takes all the materials and their costs into account. After submitting your estimate, you feel great knowing you're helping us do the quality work we're known for. It's a sweet gig, and you enjoy any opportunity you get to use your skills.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ESTIMATOR / SALES REP - 2+ years of sales experience in kitchen and bath remodeling and whole home remodeling
- 2+ years of experience in estimating remodeling projects
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
