As an
Estimator/Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of projects, from developing relationships with new and existing clients to delivering top-quality finished projects. Your role will involve assessing potential opportunities, creating competitive bids, and overseeing each project to ensure high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Shift: Mon - Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM
Work Setup: Hybrid - 70% field, 30% office (2-3 hours in the office)
Key Responsibilities: - Drive Business Growth: Target potential clients and build strong relationships to acquire new business opportunities in the asphalt, concrete, paving, and seal coating industries.
- Assess and Estimate: Review project scopes, determine pricing, and develop comprehensive proposals.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with accounting, production, and management teams to ensure top-notch quality and exceptional service.
- Client Engagement: Meet with clients through site visits, meetings, lunches, and other interactions to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Vendor and Contractor Relations: Develop strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and other key vendors.
- Research & Data Collection: Gather data on labor costs, materials, transport, and equipment to create precise cost estimates.
- Change Orders & Submittals: Identify, generate, and distribute necessary change orders and submittals.
- Market Engagement: Represent the company at marketing events, building relationships with industry professionals and potential clients.
Requirements Proven experience as an Estimator/Sales Consultant with hands-on expertise in asphalt, concrete, paving, and seal coating projects. Familiarity with key industry stakeholders such as Property Managers, Board Members, Facility Managers, General Contractors, inspectors, and city officials. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Earth, Bluebeam, Filemaker, and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot). Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Ability to work under pressure, managing deadlines, budgets, and competing priorities. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
