Job Details- Project/space planning, ensure accurate/competitive/on-time cost estimates/forecasts, relationships with clients/architects, detailed estimates/takeoffs, cost analysis, drawings/blueprints/specs/scopes, material/labor/vendor/sub quotes, outsourcing projects to vendors, and update cost database
- Negotiations for cost-effectiveness, material market trends, value engineering, supplier relationships, ensure goals meet budgets/quality standards, building codes, and risk evaluation
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as an Estimator at a general contractor on custom home projects
- Knowledge of CAD, Revit, or Bluebeam for space planning
- Working knowledge of Procore
- Knowledge of the local SoCal construction market/vendors/subs
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
