The Estimator is responsible for the initial contact with the customer, adjusters and homeowners to successfully sell our services to the customer for mold, fire or biohazard clean-up. This position ensures that projects are sold in a timely manner, on budget and to the highest quality standards bringing the properties to their pre-disaster condition.
Qualifications
Education/experience: High school diploma or equivalent, some college/college degree preferred
Construction experience preferred
IICRC/Restoration experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and verbally.

Requirements:
Perform On-Site inspections to determine the extent of the damages in a timely manner.
Estimate jobs utilizing JTR Guidelines in the software dictated by the job (Xactimate, Symbility, T&M Pro, etc.)
Attain approvals from customers and obtain signed contacts to schedule and commence work.
Successfully sell our services to the customer for water, mold, fire or biohazard clean-up.
Build, manage and maintain relationships with customers and prospects that will drive sales.
Visit a minimum of 25 new prospects per week and document those stops in CRM. Examples of new prospects include accounts that are not already in CRM and may include: property managers, independent and general adjusters, sub-contractors, or any other prospect that has the ability to refer water, fire, mold and bio-hazard related losses.
Communicate with home & business owners, insurance adjusters and subcontractors.
The estimator understands that the position requires them to generate their own leads, as the company may or may not provide leads. The estimator acknowledges that they will be responsible for securing their own work.
Notify the involved parties if any damages were caused during the duration of the project.
Update CRM (Sugar) database following company guidelines.
Maintain quarterly closing ratio of 70%
Responsible for any additional documentation needed such as supplemental estimate, supplemental contract, property release and or indemnification forms.
Track vehicle maintenance and coordinate with Fleet Management to schedule vehicle appointments.
Any and all other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Perform final walk through on all fire and biohazard jobs.
