Job Title: Structural Steel/Miscellaneous Metals Estimator



Location: Los Angeles County, CA



Salary: $120,000 - $150,000+ Benefits (DOE)

About The Client:


Goodall Brazier are seeking an Estimator for a structural steel/Miscellaneous Metals company based in the Los Angeles area.

They're known for high pace but top quality project work with clients that are renowned globally. They're growing their team so are looking for a skilled Structural Steel/Miscellaneous Metals Estimator.



Role Overview:


As a Structural Steel/Miscellaneous Metals Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing precise cost estimates by analyzing blueprints and specifications, while calculating material and labor costs. You will evaluate risks, review market trends, and collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure competitive and accurate bids. Your role will also include generating detailed reports and ensuring all estimates align with company standards and industry regulations. Strong analytical skills and extensive experience in structural steel construction for large-scale projects are essential for success in this role.



Key Responsibilities:


Prepare Detailed Cost Estimates

Assess Risks and Develop Contingencies

Collaborate and Communicate

Act as main point of contact for clients in the precon phase



Compensation:


Base - Up to $150,000 (DOE)

Bonus - Year-end bonus based on company and personal performance

Employee insurance coverage



Qualifications:


5+ years managing structural steel projects.
