Choate USA is currently seeking an experienced Landscape and Irrigation Estimator for our Houston market. You will actively generate cost estimates for construction projects, collaborate with colleagues, and represent our company as a knowledgeable industry professional.
This is an in-person position and may not be performed remotely. Typical hours are 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. M-F.
If you are the right person for this position, you will have previous experience providing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for landscape construction projects.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Estimate costs for commercial construction projects.
Analyze project requirements, plan sheets, and specifications.
Collaborate accurate and competitive bids.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Desired skills/ Experience/ Characteristics:
College Degree preferred, but not required
Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial estimating.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as takeoff software (Planswift).
What we offer:
Pay commensurate with experience. ($45,000 - $60,000)
