Position Description Landmark Construction Company Inc., an industry leader in earthwork and utility solutions trusted by the largest names in the Lowcountry for over 50 years and counting, is seeking a team-oriented Entry Level Estimator. As an Estimator I, you will have the opportunity to hone your analytical and creative engineering skillset while working alongside some of the most experienced professionals in the industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with project teams to coordinate and create takeoffs for various types of construction projects
Review project documents, plans, and specifications to identify material and labor requirements
Utilize takeoff software to determine quantities of materials, labor, and equipment needed for a project
Prepare accurate estimates for site work and utility projects
Assist with budget analysis for project materials and labor
Assist in the preparation of estimates and bids for projects
Provide technical support to project teams when needed

Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret data
Ability to interpret contractual requirements
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Creative thinking to automate processes and increase efficiencies
Ability to learn new software quickly
Strong attention to detail
.Desired Training and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
Prior experience with a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced knowledge of Excel is a MUST.)
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Creative thinking to automate processes and increase efficiencies
