The Body Bar is a full service massage, day spa, UV tanning & fitness facility in the Town of McCandless, on McKnight Road - North Hills Pittsburgh. We are seeking a high energy, positive, responsible, customer service-oriented individual, with a friendly personality to join The Body Bar Team, in delivering the highest quality customer service to our clientele. Candidate must be computer literate, have strong verbal skills & phone manners and the ability to multi-task.
Applicants need to be available between 20-25 hours per week. Hours needed are afternoon/evenings Mon-Thurs. until 8pm and daylight shifts on Friday, until 5pm & Saturday until 4:30pm. We are closed Sundays and all major holidays. Reliable transportation is a must. Hourly wage PLUS generous commission on services, product & contract sales
Esthetic Requirements: (2+ years experience in the following areas)
Body waxing - including Brazilian
Facials, Peels & Microdermabrasion
Body Treatments - including scrubs & mud wraps
Airbrush Tanning
Lash lifts & tinting
Brow laminations & tinting
Product sales
Hydrafacial, Neveskin, Cryoskin & Microchanneling experience is a plus
Front Desk Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assisting customers checking in & out of the facility
• Professionally greeting & touring customers
• In person & telephone customer service
• Scheduling appointments & services
• Maintain client database
• Processing cash & credit card transactions
• Explaining & selling/upgrading packages, memberships & products
• Assist in opening and/or closing the facility
• Maintaining facility appearance, equipment cleanliness & maintenance
• General laundry detail
• Administrative/clerical work
