Position Summary:
This role supports clients going through the inheritance process. As a Estate & Inheritor Services Specialist, you'll be the main point of contact for clients and their beneficiaries, helping them transfer assets after a loved one passes away. You'll work closely with financial advisors, client service teams, and other departments to make the process smooth, respectful, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to clients and beneficiaries during the inheritance process
- Communicate proactively by phone and email to offer clear updates and empathetic service
- Handle and follow up on paperwork and service requests to ensure timely and accurate processing
- Set clear expectations with clients on timelines and outcomes
- Deliver top-tier service to both clients and internal teams
- Research and resolve issues, escalating them when needed
- Document all case activities using internal systems
- Monitor daily workload and ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
- Follow identity verification procedures to prevent fraud
- Stay updated on compliance rules (SEC/FINRA) and ensure all interactions meet those standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree preferred
- 3-4 years of experience in financial services, ideally with estates, trusts, retirement plans, account openings, or asset transfers
