Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead a team of account and business development managers. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, meeting annual targets, and ensuring the team understands and responds to market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business plans targeting specific markets/customers aligned with company capabilities.
- Use market intelligence, analytics, and customer insight to drive growth.
- Review market trends, pricing strategies, and customer needs.
- Identify and qualify leads; pursue new business opportunities via technology and social media.
- Expand existing client relationships and build strategic alliances.
- Recommend product standardization to improve profitability.
- Represent the company at industry events.
- Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure regular updates to sales/account plans.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Analyze and manage departmental budgets.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
- Create and deliver professional client presentations.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of all product lines for effective client representation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 15+ years of sales and customer service experience
- Prior management or supervisory experience
- Strong sales acumen with technical product understanding
- Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant databases
