Job Description Must have an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Clearance This position is contingent upon contract award The purpose of this position is to manage the Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) function and lead the ESH team to create and sustain a productive work culture and safe work environment to avoid and minimize ESH related problems. These problems include but are not limited to prevention of human injury, environmental degradation, and unsafe working conditions/practices. Provide leadership and oversight of environmental, safety, and health training, programs, and processes with a visible and uncompromised commitment to the protection of the environment as well as the productivity of the Company's employees.
• Manage and train subordinates assigned on ESH activities on large-scale projects or multi-projects; duties may include the calculation and control of ESH budgets, staffing requirements and schedules; preparation of certification/classification programs and the preparation of the supporting ESH documents; coordination and execution of safety cases and support studies; Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA); Process Hazard Analyses (PHA); Fire Protection Specifications (FPS) and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) as required by certification or regulatory entities

• Provide guidance, assistance and advice to business lines, project management, and Company organizations through interpretation and promulgation of Company ESH practices and procedures in relation to client requirements and current legislation and regulations

• Make decisions on engineering/scientific problems and methods relating to ESH using advanced techniques, modifications and extensions of theories, precepts and practices of the field, related sciences, and disciplines

• Lead the implementation of ESH programs, including project site based ESH plans, orientation, recognition, and awards programs, to all levels of project staff to promote a balance between productivity and the safety of project staff and visitors in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

• Run gap analyses to identify and address program gaps that may occur between Company practices, client requirements, and regulatory/legislative requirements to confirm that the project conforms to Company, client, and regulatory/legislative requirements

• Provide leadership to initiate, foster and maintain ESH standards and goals through Company and/or program wide ESH programs to heighten awareness and promote a safe and productive work environment

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders

• Job site related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Basic Job Requirements

• Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
• Extensive working knowledge and understanding of federal and state regulations to include but not limited to 29 CFR 1910; 29 CFR 1926; CFR Title 40; NFPA; and USACE EM 385 1-1

• Continue education and knowledge of industry-wide ESH-related information and technologies as well as new regulations and trends through continuing education, conferences, and/or periodicals, and continues to develop in-depth specialization

• May serve as a Company representative to external ESH organizations

• Travel mobility to support ESH and site management teams at additional program locations
• Minimum of 7 years ESH management experience
