ESD Project Manager, you will
Position Responsibilities:- Apply project management techniques to lead, plan, schedule, and optimize resources for construction and other large-scale projects. Ensure high-quality project execution and effectively resolve schedule delays and conflicts.
- Lead, mentor, guide, and collaborate with individuals of diverse personalities and work styles to achieve successful outcomes.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of schedule delays and conflicts.
- Develop, maintain, and closely monitor project budgets to ensure timely and expected completion of projects.
- Regularly monitor project progress and deliver comprehensive status reports.
- Exercise sound judgment in decision-making, manage risk, and ensure compliance with all policies, laws, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain long-range project strategies and plans.
- Interface regularly with stakeholders, project vendors, and management to ensure alignment and proper progress and focus.
- Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to senior management and other groups.
- Align project activities and ensure accurate reporting in adherence with grant guidelines.
Required:- High School Diploma/GED: With at least 14 years of construction project management experience. Associates or Higher Degree is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with project management techniques, Microsoft office and project management software.
- Experience in managing multiple tasks and effectively resolve high-risk issues.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards, along with expertise in the construction bidding process and working with construction firms.
Desired:- Experience with WSDOT NEVI (National EV Infrastructure) and ZEVIP (Zero Emissions Vehicle Infrastructure Program).
- Advanced proficiency with project management techniques, Microsoft office and project management software.
- Experience with site lease agreements.
- Thorough knowledge and experience with state and federal grant compliance.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Certified associate in project management (CAPM).
Pay Range: $80 to $85 per hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
