Role Overview:

The Escrow Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales contract and escrow process for new home sales. This role acts as the central liaison between sales, construction, lending, title, and homebuyers to ensure smooth, timely, and compliant closings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all buyer contracts from execution through closing.
  • Coordinate with sales agents, escrow officers, lenders, and title companies to ensure timelines are met.
  • Review and validate contract documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Track key milestones such as loan approval, contingencies, and closing dates.
  • Resolve issues related to escrow, title, and financing to prevent closing delays.
  • Maintain and update status reports and dashboards for internal teams.
  • Ensure all buyer documents are properly filed and recorded in systems.
  • Train and support sales agents on contract procedures and company policies.
  • Monitor earnest money deposits and escrow disbursements.
  • Assist with internal audits and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
  • Train and manage the Escrow Assistant.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in escrow management, title, or real estate transactions (homebuilding experience preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sales contracts and escrow procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to manage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Newstar).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
