Job Summary The ERP Systems Administrator/Specialist responsibilities include maintaining and optimizing operations by managing the ERP system. They will provide general support, including timely resolution of system, transactional and integration issues. Performing software maintenance, integration with other software packages and data analysis are essential to this position.
Essential Job Functions - Responsible for ERP functionality and maintenance, including inventory reconciliations, cost adjustments, item traceability, BOM and router maintenance, integration, etc.
- Setup and maintain database security including user roles & access
- Troubleshoot and prioritize system issues and resolve in a timely manner with minimal disruptions for all users
- Process mapping of ERP system and related organizational processes and tools with input from management
- Ensure ERP and financial requirements are in alignment
- Review, organize and evaluate the value and usage of existing SSRS reports and provide suggestions to streamline and improve reporting
- Continual support of the ERP system and integration with other software packages
- Participate in the evaluation of new ERP related processes, tools and reports with cross-functional team members
- Support new software releases, upgrades, migration, testing and data validation
- Evaluate and perform standard work associated with standard cost rollups and revaluations
- Involvement with period end activity involving systems and other administrative activities
- Work directly with Finance, IT, Operations and other team members on ERP functionality
- Collaborate with outside consultants as necessary
Education Bachelor's degree in information technology
or
- Business Administration (with accounting concentration), or related fields
Experience- 3+ years of use and technical abilities with ERP systems
- Proven experience with configuration and troubleshooting of ERP systems
Skills Required
- Possess manufacturing experience with a strong understanding of procurement and planning processes, inventory management, and warehouse operations
- Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain finance and accounting principles and business processes
- Proficient in data structure and maintenance and integrity of an ERP system
- Experience with Windows operating systems, SQL commands and writing DB scripts
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments including Finance, IT, and Operations; adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to keep stakeholders informed, ensuring timely communication around system issues, updates, and adjustments to promote transparency and alignment throughout the organization.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Understanding of the .NET framework and C - Dexterity is a plus
- Microsoft Dynamics GP certification is a plus
- Familiarity with SSRS reporting services
- Knowledge of Agile, Accellos, Willoware, and other software packages
- Experience in the medical device and/or manufacturing industry
