Job Description Position: ERP Consultant - Dynamics
Location: Chicago, IL
Type: Contract
Rate: $75/hr to $90/hr
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced ERP Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) to support project strategy, implementation, and optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a track record of successful D365 implementations.
Key Responsibilities: - Participate in D365 F&O projects, providing support for strategy development, implementation, and IT operational improvements.
- Analyze and map business processes; liaise between technical and business teams to ensure clear understanding of system architecture, integrations, and client requirements.
- Drive daily engagement tasks, including process design, implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews.
- Advise stakeholders on available system services and D365 capabilities to optimize financial and operational workflows.
- Communicate key findings and project updates effectively to senior leadership and project teams.
- Maintain professionalism, integrity, and accountability while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Functional Lead with hands-on involvement in Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O implementations and upgrades.
- Completed at least three full lifecycle implementations of D365 F&O in a Functional Lead or Architect role.
- Strong understanding of Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure, and Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS).
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
- Deep knowledge of financial systems, functional design, process configuration, and best practices within Finance & Operations.
- Familiarity with ISVs commonly used with D365 F&O and how to integrate them into projects.
