THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Epic Application Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of Epic applications within our organization. You will work closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure our Epic systems effectively support patient care and organizational goals. This is an on-site position and not eligible for remote work. Epic certification is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Act as the primary support contact for your end-users and a liaison between your end-users and the Project Team or Epic.
  2. Identify issues that arise, notifying the Project Team, and, if needed, work with Epic to resolve them. Provide ongoing support to end users, including troubleshooting issues and resolving system errors.
  3. Guide workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic software.
  4. Identify and implement requested changes to the system.
  5. Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly meetings and Change Advisory Board.
  6. Develop an understanding of operational needs and use of Garden Plot by regularly visiting clinic locations.
  7. Ensure a successful connection to Garden Plot through user access requests, configuring workstations and printers, and working with Epic to deploy Garden Plot to local workstations.
  8. Participate in end-user training and work with end-users to ensure their happiness.
  9. Train and educate end users on Epic software and new features to ensure effective utilization.
  10. Troubleshoot problems and questions in collaboration with other Garden Plot analysts across Plot Members.
  11. Champion optimization opportunities and greater adoption of Epic software across your users.
  12. Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
  13. Hold weekly communications with core team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, and upcoming milestones.
  14. Work with third-party vendors to deploy content or devices and provide them troubleshooting information as needed to resolve issues.
  15. Assist with the documentation of system changes, processes, and procedures.
  16. Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to optimize workflows and improve system performance.
  17. Support system testing, upgrades, and new implementation phases.
  18. Stay current with updates to Epic software, tools, and industry best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a similar discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1 -3 years of experience working with Epic systems in a healthcare environment, demonstrating hands-on knowledge and application.
PREFERRED:
  • Epic Certification in at least one module (e.g., Ambulatory, Inpatient, Revenue Cycle, etc.) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare IT role, particularly in Epic implementation, optimization or system upgrades.

Salary Range:

Non-certified: $26.75 - $43.95

Certified: $31.98 - $52.35
