About the Role: The EPC project scheduler role is a crucial part of the operations and project team, working closely with estimators, project managers, construction managers, superintendent, and field leadership to create, plan, schedule, monitor and control all project activities to provide transparency in the work.

Essential Functions
  • Developing, tracking, and analyzing fully integrated master schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Managing large lump sum EPC projects schedule.
  • Developing and tracking critical path, forecast completion dates, areas of risk and opportunity and status of key milestones.
  • Developing and recording the project's historical schedule information and lessons learned for future use.
  • Developing and tracking sub-schedules along with reviewing and updating integrated master schedule.
  • Communicating with client representatives, design consultants, contractors, sub-consultants, and other appointed team vendors.
  • Preparing progress reports, using lookaheads and communicating any project impacts the schedule.
  • Supporting project team with risk analyses.
  • Assisting project controls with evaluation of reported progress and status of critical activities.
  • Monitoring and reporting schedule deviations and variances, tracking delays.
  • Working closely with project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the schedules produced.
  • Possibly overseeing other schedulers.
  • Experienced with Earned Value Method (EVMV), and resource management in P6.
  • Works with preconstruction and operations team to create level 1 and 2 project schedules for estimating purpose.
  • Develops indicators for internal and external stakeholders including construction, equipment suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Independently and pro-actively gathers necessary project data to represent the progress of the project deliverables.
  • Alerts the project management team in the event of any major deviations from the project schedule.
About You: Qualifications
  • 5+ years of construction scheduling experience, preferably in a fast-paced work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Previous experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Able to develop and maintain a properly phased and logic tied P6 construction schedule and manpower loading.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks on an ongoing basis.
  • High level of organization.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data to make informed decisions.
  • Capable of adapting quickly to changes in project scope.
Work Environment
  • Works in the office and travels as requested by Management.
  • Comfortable in construction environments.
What We Offer: Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary $90,000-$130,000/ year
    • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. CSI reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the selected candidate's qualifications.
