Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to add to our Environmental team in Connecticut. The Project manager is responsible for providing the overall technical and financial direction on projects, ensuring that the client receives the designs, reports, and opinions descried in their contract. They may be responsible for several concurrent projects and may actively participate in marketing the firm services
Salary - $90,000-$130,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participates in bringing work into the firm through execution of planned marketing strategies.
- Assembles the project team for a proposal.
- Responsible =for the accurate and effective estimation of fees for proposals.
- Determines major project design decisions in conjunction with the client.
- Checks the accuracy of completed work and serves as primary point of contact with the client
- Fully responsible for project scope, schedule, and budget.
- May oversee construction efforts.
- Provides administrative supervision of assigned staff members, including performance reviews and recommending staff members for advancement.
- Ensures client authorizations are obtained before proceeding with work and ensures that established budgets are not exceeded without client authorization or authorization by the Project Officer.
- Takes full responsibility for milestones of the project and demonstrates a high commitment to safety and makes efforts to instill these virtues in assigned staff.
- Demonstrates commitment to budget and attentively reviews project performance and projected estimates to complete.
- Offers opportunities to project staff to get acquainted with the business side of projects and leads the team with enthusiasm.
Required Skills and Abilities

- Understands the physical environment - including landforms and topography - and how these elements interact with the built environment.

Knowledge and experience
- B.S. in geology, environmental science, or other related discipline.
- 8-10 years' experience in technical development of projects in his or her own area of expertise.
- Experience with leading projects involving Phase I, II, and III site investigations and remediation planning and execution required.
